The Origin of Orphic
I’m a 20-year-old creative from Chicago, IL, currently studying Advertising and Marketing at Loyola University. Orphic started in the most unexpected way—through my hate for math. Back in my sophomore year of high school, I spent more time doodling in class than actually doing the assignments. My doodles became a signature of who I was—on every notebook, every handout, anything I could draw on. Eventually, people began to recognize me by them. They weren’t just drawings anymore—they were part of my identity.
Freshman year, I attended a fundraiser hosted by 312 Collective Chicago. That’s where I put one of my doodles on a hoodie for the first time, using spray paint and paint markers. The response was immediate—people really vibed with it and pushed me to keep going. I knew I had something special, but doing it all by hand made it tough to consistently produce high-quality pieces.
So, I leveled up. I started digitizing my artwork, making sure every design still kept that same hand-drawn, original energy I had when I painted my first hoodie. That’s what Orphic is built on—creativity, authenticity, and originality.
At its core, Orphic isn’t just a clothing brand. It’s a space. A concept. A community. My goal is to create pieces that not only look good but feel personal—something you’ll always want to pull out of your closet. More than that, I want Orphic to be a place where people feel free to embrace their most authentic selves and be part of something bigger.
